Established in 1999 with just two teams and a vision, Pittsburgh Power Softball has grown into a premier organization fielding 18–22 competitive teams annually. We provide young athletes ages 6–19 in Southwestern Pennsylvania the opportunity to compete in fast-pitch softball at the highest levels.

Our Commitment to Players
Our organization is entirely player-focused. We are dedicated to providing a positive, safe, and elite playing environment where athletes can reach their full potential. To support year-round development, we offer:
- A Private Indoor Training Facility: Available 24/7 for our athletes.
- Dedicated Outdoor Fields: Two full-sized fields maintained exclusively for Pittsburgh Power teams.
Our Nonprofit Mission
Pittsburgh Power is a registered nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting excellence in girls’ fast-pitch softball. Our focus is on helping players develop critical life skills—including confidence, leadership, and mental discipline—while teaching the value of success on and off the field through hard work and sportsmanship.
100% Volunteer-Run
We take pride in being a community-driven organization. Pittsburgh Power is 100% volunteer-run, with no paid staff, board members, or coaches. Every leader in our program is here for one reason: the success of our players.
Safety & Integrity
The safety of our athletes is our top priority.
- Rigorous Screening: All managers and coaches must provide current child abuse clearances and criminal background checks.
- Accountability: All coaches, players, and parents are required to sign a Code of Conduct to ensure a respectful and supportive environment for everyone involved.
Team Spirit
Beyond the scores and stats, we are dedicated to fostering a ‘Power Family’ culture rooted in mutual respect and encouragement. Our players learn that being part of a team means lifting each other up, celebrating every victory together, and facing every challenge with unwavering sportsmanship.
